CBM95 CryBaby Mini Wah : Finally Jim Dunlop heard our cries on making a small wah
As you know, wah and volume pedals are mostly the biggest and the heaviest pedals on our pedalboards. Don't get me wrong; I still love and use my other wah pedals that I have purchased through the years. But if you are playing in a cover band that travels frequently with commercial flights this pedal might be a lifesaver. This pedal is nearly as big as a Boss pedal. It is very lightweight and has a flat bottom that is very handy if you are using velcro tapes to fix it on your pedalboard. (Now I am using a 50 cm x 32 cm pedalboard that is loaded with 8 pedals plus this wah) It has true bypass output which fuzz users love and works great with almost any overdrive or distortion pedal. It is a nice option that you can switch between 3 modes that are available (Hi, Mid and Low). High mode is good with clean sounds but Vintage mid mode is great when using distortion. The only problem with this pedal is you have to open up its bottom to change modes. I think Jim Dunlop will fix it on new productions. Very good pedal, very Cry Baby :)
