Crunch Distortion : Marshall sound in a box!
Rugged-built, with a metal enclosure, Alpha pots, a well- enginereed PCB (No SMD here!), the Crunch Distortion is a real bang-for-the-bucks!
Basically a Marshall in a box pedal, it features lots of Volume, a easy to use tone knob, which can be used to cut some of the mid-highs the pedal roars (as Marshalls do) and plenty of Gain, which covers the range from AC/DC to Van Halen.
Sound is very powerful and rich, power chords sound compact and heavy and solos have that Marshall sparkle on top.
It is hard to obtain those slighty break up sounds you would expect from a JCM45 or a Plexi; this pedal is more JCM800-oriented.
It also features a real true bypass (3PDT switch).
I highly recommend it; it's a great sounding stompbox for the cost of a pizza and a couple of beers!
