This is an easy to use unit where you can get your choice of Marshall tone easy and quick. This is an amp simulation pedal where you can use it direct to soundcard. You can get many sounds from one pedal. It works good with noise gate, chorus, flanger, wah and other effects. I am sure this unit will find a place on many guitarists' pedal boards within a short time. Low, mid and high pots really acts as active eq. pots in case to get you the right sound easily. Voice pot raises the amount of tube character and drive pot is the amount of drive as we know it. The guitar sounds differs from other instruments in the mix where you don't need to use too much plug in to make it bright at the mix. Because this pedal emulates the Marshall characteristics very well; a noise gate can be used while recording direct if you are cranking the character and drive pots to maximum.
