14677 Stainless Steel L/M Bass : Smooth and present
These strings feel different, than uncoated strings. The coating gives you a very smooth feeling, the fingers glide better on the strings. I like that feeling, but some might prefer rough, uncoated strings.
The coating takes a little top end off compared to uncoated strings, but only in the beginning. They keep their sound over a very long time. The sound itself is well balanced between attack and deep bass with a little more aggression than the nickel ones from Elixier. I use them on all my basses.
