Level Set Buffer Pedal : Useful
This pedal is useful not just for your buffering needs, it also helps if you use different guitars, let's say a Les Paul and a Strat. I also use it as a kill switch when plugging in my guitar as it kills the signal when it's off. On other hand, this could be a problem in different setups, for example, if you have a vintage germanium fuzz later in your signal chain and you want to switch the buffer off while the fuzz is on. In that case you could put the buffer after the fuzz or, as in my case, put it in a loop of a pedal switcher. This also lets you hear what the pedal does to your signal because otherwise, without a pedal switcher you don't hear your unbuffered signal when the buffer is off.
The difference in my tone is noticeable, actually with some pedals I prefer playing without the buffer. So in the end I guess they could think about having an option to choose what happens when this buffer is disengaged - to kill the signal or let it pass through, there could be a switch for that next to the LEDs switch. Because of that I gave the pedal four stars for features.
Also I don't hear any difference when the Load Toggle is up or down but maybe it's useful in other setups.
