SM58 LC : Best mic I've had

Okay, so I haven't had that many mics as I'm a beginner wrt singing, but I've had a few and this is by far the best. I like the solidity of the design and just by holding it, you know it's a quality product. It seems to be a no nonsense product designed for one thing only, which is to pick up vocals well. This mic doesn't even have an on/off switch, which is why I bought it (one less thing that can break).

The sound is very good and it's quite good at rejecting pop sounds, however, it will pop some if you're really close (read:lips touching).

My friend recommended this to me (he has several) and this was definitely the right choice for my studio. I wouldn't hesitate using this on gigs either.
