A2.7TBR SK : Great 7 string

I have been after a new 7-string for a long time and when these came up I knew I wanted it.

I would say it looks amazing and feels amazing. it is a fast guitar and well designed and built and made. For this price, it is a great deal and am glad I paid the extra price premium for the red.

personal preference issues include that I needed a thicker string for the low string- I drop-tune to A, and wanted to get the tension closer to the rest of the guitar. So I put a .074 I had lying around on it. For a lot of people, something in the .060-.069 range would likely be fine, especially tuning the low-string to B, but I like more low-string tension and drop tuning.

I also only like the Seymour Duncan pickups- they do sound great and are very versatile, especially with the coil taps, and are good quality. But I do prefer the Seymour Duncan Nazgul/Sentient pair I have in my 8-String. I just add a little EQ between the guitar and my overdrive pedal to taste.

Would recommend Solar Guitars to anyone wanting a cool and high-quality modern guitar.
