Pyrit 212 Sub A : Hell of a punch!

Running one of the 2x12's with 2 EV 12 tops and this sub really frees them up to do their job properly. Down side? Just one. The handles could be a bit larger to allow you to lift the cab overhand rather than hand under the handle but with 2 people its an easy lift and when you plug it in the weight immediately becomes a plus point for the sound. This cab drops low! very low! Really punchy and couldn't get it to clip at all. First gig out was a 150 people bar and I couldn't run it in anger. House music sang from it and sounded stunning. D'n'B sounded full and low. It coped with dubstep really well but twin 18's would have gone lower 'but not much lower'. Good crossover built in and super easy setup. Definitely purchase the locking casters and the Pyrite bag for 'wheeled cab' as made it much easier to handle on my own. Looks fantastic in the flesh and the cab is the business. looked at the Ev 1x12 active sub cabs but glad I bought one of these for half the price. Very impressed.
