G212 Vertical Celestion V30 : Bang for the buck

I play mostly metal (mostly classic Thrash), thus in my arsenal mostly high gain amps. I think V30s perfectly serve this purpose by providing mid-focused sound.

Pros:

It is very light-weighted compared to other famous cabs and you can easily move it

Celestion V30s provides nice mid push

Vertical layout takes less space

Handles 120W

Has passthrough connection. I'm not sure if it is parallel or serial.

Cons

Due to thin walls it has less resonance and lack of bass response. You need to compensate it by adjusting the amp's knobs. Usually adding more bass and cutting treble helps

Build quality is kinda lacking.

I think for this price it is a real bargain, and if you don't want to spend over $1k for MESA, it is a real choice.

Unfortunately, mine was damaged during transportation (i live in US), however the issue was handled by customer support.
