AC30S1 : Stopped Dead second Rehearsal restarted after 30mins Unreliable

I own Vox ac30 cc2 12 years also Vox ac15c1 6 years both gigged and rehearsed with out any issues all maintained and regularly re-valved.
I suspect pcb over heating issues why else have has a power saving momentary on/off switch circuit been added ,I suspect not to save the planet none of the above mentioned amps have these circuits.
Bottom Line I would never gig this amp which sounds great but a new amp cutting out with suspected over heating issues . I've returned it and awaiting money return
