22" EQ3 Resonant Bass Drum BK : Great!
Got this as a replacement to the stock head on my Mapex kick which was starting to split at the (badly DIY'd) sound hole. Luckily this comes with a pre-cut 5" hole so should last far better than my own efforts!
Great sound from this reso head and definitely an upgrade from the stock one. Tuned nice and low to give a bit of subby resonance I've been getting the best kick sounds I've ever recorded since putting this on. I didn't think reso heads made all that much difference previously but I'm glad to have been proven wrong!
