my studio engineer nearly kissed me when he saw this. His eyes lit up and he said that he loves this head as it makes it easy to mike and balance a kick drum. I love the tone and sustain that i am getting from it. i'm using an 80s resonator kit and this head just fits in with the rest of my sound perfectly. i play everything from hard rock to pop and this head moves seamlessy across the genres.
I was weary at first as i used to love remos but i have to say i have fallen in love with the EQ3. WOuld highly recommend it to any player who wants to improve the response of their kick drum.
