For anyone 'on the fence' about getting an octaver pedal, I can highly recommend this unit from MXR. It's a solid little thing, very robust and the controls are firm and not too loose. The sounds are brilliant, and through several amps I've tested it delivers the same low end growl that shakes the room.

Combines well with other effects like overdrives and wah pedals for some great synthy sounds.

It's not going to be everyones 'cup of tea' but I found it to be a versatile and great sounding pedal!
