Forcefield Compressor : TC ForceField first impressions

this is built rock solidly like a tank , controls are rugged and has the soft click switch (nice) . Has the promise of many years of use with little wear and tear. It's reassuring solidness is the first thing that hit me as being at odds with its very cheap price , some of the chinese made pedals are very flimsy and I've had several of them fail . I reckon you could use the forcefield to hammer in nails with :)

Apparently its based on ibanez cp-9 ( If I'm wrong blame google)

I currently use a wampler ego compressor which has a lot more controls than the forcefield , and is quite flexible as a result but I do spend time fiddling too many options at times.

I'm looking at putting together a quick grab and go board and the forcefield seems to be the contender . Its not perfectly quiet of course but not bad at all.

I tend to use compression as an always on effect for clean playing with single coil fenders and sometimes in front of overdrive/distortion to push them a bit harder with humbuckers/single coils.

I like the forcefield you get a LOT of pedal for your 49 euro, I'm giving serious consideration to selling on my wampler.
