22" Response 2 Clear Bass Drum : Just try it.
I have never be a fan of pre-muffled drum-heads. I find them "restricted". Of course, i don't think that pre-muffled drum heads are bad choice, i just prefer "clean" drumhead, without any muffling or something like that. Let me to do muffling :)
I am a fan of Aquarian drumheads in general. but never try Response 2 on kick drum. Sound is exactly what i expected to be. Open, resonant, great attack and amazing sound. If you know how to tweak bass drum, you will have no problem to do it with no pre-muffled drum-head.
