S.L.P. Fat Spruce 3-pc 20" TWS : A very high quality kit, but maybe better to go for a gretsch
I love this drum kit and the sound is very versatile. Can be tuned deep for thuddy rock sound or very high for a jazzier tone without losing its roundness. Very slick design. Beautiful finish. The tom holder is very easy to adjust . Probably the best bass drum I've played on.
I say maybe go for a gretsch as a pro level gretsch is about the same cost, they come with remo heads which I prefer and they will always have a great resale value. I wanted to sell this kit for a smaller 18" bass drum and couldn't find anyone to take it, no reviews and no big name for this series unfortunately. But for performance it is really stunning.
