2215 : Good quality, perfect balance
These strings have been my strings of choice for almost 3 years now.
The set is really balanced and works well with standard, alternate and drop tunings.
Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of the way that a coated string feels, and while these strings can last for one or two months at best they are really cheap compared to their coated equivalents, so it's just a matter of preference. The intonation with these is good all over the fretboard and they can withstand some really brutal right hand technique and huge bends. I suggest you to use this gauge of strings on Gibson scale guitars for Drop D all the way down to Drop B and their standard counterparts (C standard works decently too), and Drop C to Drop A# and their standard counterparts for Fender scale guitars. My only problem with this set is the D string could be a bit lighter because it makes it harder to bend the G string in standard tuning.
My overall suggestion: If you play punk rock, metal, metalcore or rock in general, these might be the set of strings you're looking for, but if you want to shred keep in mind that some bends will be pretty hard on your fingers in standard tuning!
