2215 : Skinny Top, Heavy Bottom
This was the first time I have used Skinny Top, Heavy Bottom string from Ernie Ball. I normally use Super Slinky, but I have recently been playing music which is tuned down 2 steps. This resulted in a lot of fret buzz on the low E, so I thought a set of heavier strings would eliminate this as the string tension would be higher, which it has done. As always, the Ernie Ball strings are of great quality, sound good and are reasonably priced. I tend to play quite hard and have not broken one yet. I would highly recommend the brand in general and these strings in particularly if you play a lot of drop tuning stuff.
