Pure Blues PB-40 : The best one for me

I think I finally came up with the strings that satisfies me completely.

After experimenting with a lot of different brands and gauges, most of the time in past few Years I stuck with Elixir nanoweb 40-95 because they lasted the most, but the gauge was a bit thin on the E string for me.

DR Pure Blues I tried by chance, cause they arrived on the bass I bought second-hand. It however was 45-105, but I loved the sound.

Therefore I bought this one DR Pure Blues 40-100, and it's perfect 10/10 sound, feel and duration.

UPDATE after I bought the second pack, three weeks later.

The similar thing happened like with the 45-105 I got on the second hand bass I bought, That pack 45-105 got E string sounding a little bit dull in comparison to other strings.

This 40-100 set has the same problem out of the box, but with the G string. It sound like it is used much more than the other three strings.

So I'm a little bit disappointed and must to lower the rating.

UPDATE after my third pack. The same situation like with the last update. The E string is dull at the moment I put them on my P bass. Just for in case, I change them and put them on StingRay - same thing. First three strings have great sound, and the E is dull.

Sadly I'm finished with Pure Blues. Was so happy after the first pack...
