D1 : Great practice piano for beginners!

There aren't many options for a good quality fully weighted piano at this price point. And for that category, this pretty much takes the cake.

Anyone who needs an instrument that actually feels like the real thing and not some plastic toy, look no further. I've used it for the past 10 months, and it performs well for daily practice and recording alike.

The 10 sound categories are not huge, but enough to articulate most ideas in most genres. For anything more, you can use your VST sounds anyway.

Out of the box, it came with a small almost unnoticeable defect at the corner of the front face where the black plastic surface separated from the wood plate under it. Over the next few weeks, this black cover separated even more. Now there's a very noticeable gap around the corner screws and a smaller gap at the right side of the button console. However ugly to look at, it's just a cosmetic issue and does not affect the playability in any way.

One thing I wish it would have is a pitch wheel, but I guess they had to save some features for the higher-end models. It does come with a sustain pedal with multiple sensitivities.

All things considered, I am satisfied with the purchase and it's well worth the price.
