PMXA-67R UL Alto Sax : Fantastic sax from P Mauriat!

This is a a fantastic sax with a big, rich, vintage sound particularly in the lower register. Do not be put off by it being made in Vietnam - there are fantastic craftsmen and women the world over and Mauriat seem to employ a fair few! My only criticisms are the case which, with pockets front and back and an unnecessary velcro fastener, is almost designed to drop your brand new sax on the floor and the strangely shaped and uncomfortable thumb rest. I have already ordered a replacement. If you are looking for a new sax you should at least try one of these.
