Amarok-6 EGNT Quilted Burst : Emerald axe for metal warrior \m/

Maple veneer is more nondescript than in the photo. It looks indistinct, the drawing of the tree structure is very expressionless, almost transparent, unlike the examples in the photographs.

However, the look of the face of the soundboard and the headstock looks nice.

The paintwork is well done, but not perfect. There are very minor negligence, however, this is all nonsense. The painting method is rather complicated. Part of the body is painted over, the other part exposes the wood. The neck is also not painted over, which further accentuates the attention to the neck construction through the body. I understand that for this price it is almost impossible to do this kind of paint work perfectly. The back is translucent: through a layer of green paint I can see the mahogany body and it's nice.

The neck is pretty slippery: it is covered with the same matte varnish as the body.

I am pleased with the choice of wood for the neck. The center piece of the neck was radial sawed - my compliments!

The fretboard is good. I don't know what ebony wood should be like, but the fretboard is dark throughout the entire of board. Frets is polished.

The guitar has fantastic sustain. If you disconnect the battery, these EMGs sound like passive pickups lol.

I also ran into two previously known Amarok problems:

The volume knob scratching wood. But it is enough to pull it a little and everything is ok.

I also ran into the fact that the jack was held in the socket incorrectly. I had to unscrew the the cable socet and was fold back the contact plate, which fixes the cable inside. It takes me a couple of minutes, but the problem has been relevant since the first batch of Amarok. Why it has not been fixed until now is a mystery to me.

Overall, considering the specs and this price, the guitar is amazing.
