Ukulele High Tide Ova Tenor : Wonderful tone, exceptional build quality, fabulous looks

The ukulele is finished to very a high degree of attention and workmanship, equivalent to many much more expensive uke's I 've handled. The tone is wonderful and the projection is outstanding. Make no mistake, this is a great sounding but loud ukulele. The neck has a slim profile and is very comfortable, and with the tenor scale length and fret spacing it makes it much easier for hands the size of mine to cope with. The Grover tuners are precise and hold their tuning perfectly. Once the stretch is out of the strings you rarely need to adjust them. Plugged in the uke gives out a clear and rich sound. The treble and bass sliders work well enough, but a slider for mid would have given a touch more control. You can adjust things on your amp of course, but having the ability to provide a fraction more control from the uke itself would have been nice. One minor criticism, the gig bag is a not really a gig bag - there is no padding at all. You'll want to get a decent bag or case for this uke, if anything happened to its looks it would be a crime, if anything happened that changed its playability or tone it would be a catastrophe. It's not the cheapest tenor uke out there, but this Luna really punches above its price.
