Mic Stand : A total bargain

This is by no means the most robust mic stand I've owned: neither is it the flimsiest. It's a medium-lightweight stand of acceptably sturdy and neat construction.

More expensive stands have nicer and stronger knobs for tightening screws and bolts, but the more modest ones here do the job just fine.

It is stable when one loads it up with a mic and cable and the tripod feet are wide enough to ensure that the stand doesn't tip over (so long as one sensibly positions the boom arm directly over one of the feet, as with any mic stand).

As a mic stand it's not spectaular, but it is adequate and perfectly usable. When one considers the price though, it's pretty amazing. You could buy three of these for the price of one noticeably more sturdy stand.
