Evah Pirazzi Bass Orc. Light : Absolutely great quality strings

There's no doubt Pirastro is one of the best brands for string instruments.

I have been playing gut string for long time (either corda or eudoxa or oliv are fantastic), and even tho I prefer that old school sound; it's a bit difficult sometimes to have a proper live sound.

So I was thinking on trying these strings cause not long time ago, I did a recording with a rented bass and they were having Eva Pirazzi.

The volume and the sound are great. Wormer then the common metal strings, perhaps thanks to their synthetic core. Some times I may find them a bit tooo middely, but you can change it with your EQ.

Anyway, the deepnes you need in bass sound, is there.

They're great for both; pizzicato (obviously) and arco (or at least most comfortable then I thought); and I didn't have any problems with the transition from gut to metal strings

There's no dissapointments in sound, quality, playability; and they have a great price
