Fun 20 Harmonica : mostly harmless

This isn't a professional-level instrument, but you should be able to guess that from the price being quite a bit less than a tenth of what you should pay for such an instrument.

Having said that, as an inexpensive gift, or perhaps a novelty at a dinner party, it does have some merit. It is a proper harmonica, and there are much worse harmonicas made for the toy market. For the price it does represent great value for money in this case.

The most serious problem is the windiness and lack of response (you'll need strong lungs to get a good tune), but this might be something of a blessing if you get it for a noisy child. Despite this you can get some convincing harmonica sounds out of it and even play a simple blues.

I would say it is also worth getting for someone who wants to try the harmonica, just to see if it for them, which is of course difficult in a shop because of hygiene concerns.

Just replace it please with something good and responsive like a Hohner Special 20 or Lee Oskar Major Diatonic as soon as possible if they take to it.
