SM57 LC : The studio and stage classic

What can you say about a product everything’s already said? Well, if you buy this microphone you’ll get what you expect and especially what you know from thousands of records. It performs really great on snare and you don’t have to experiment for hours to get a good sound of the combination snaredrum + SM57. It’s almost the same thing if you put it in front of a guitar amp. That’s what I use it primarily.

Yes, it colours the sound. It suffices to have a look at the frequency chart of the SM57 to recognize that. But it colours the sound in a way which emphasizes the major frequencies of an electric guitar. And that creates the sound you learned to love from different recordings. I wouln’t like to miss it in my microphone collection.

At last I have to say: the overwhelming build quality makes it almost unbreakable!
