SM57 LC : I'm very sure about this.

The Shure SM57 LC is one of the most appreciated studio-recording microphones and with good reason.

Thus looking simple (and cheap, by some), it gives recordings and live events a great sound quality; the voice is clear, no matter if the guitar sound is distorted or clean and/or is used along with Delay/Modulation effects (I know it's not meant for guitar amps only, but I haven't used THIS model for drum recordings yet). It sounds great in front of a bass amp too.

This microphone is an ideal must-have unit for a musician who wants to record tracks with a perfect sound quality, still not feel the need of having a really expensive microphone. This microphone is the best in it's price range, and NO studio should be without one.
