Like all fuzzes, sound you get really depends on your speakers/amps and how you play it.

For me it did not work great on my home amp (some cheap Park) but for recording, I use cab IR responses and I am amazed of how much "colors" you get just by "changing speakers" without even touching the knobs on Mastotron.

Although you have multiple parameters/knobs, most of the time it comes down to two sounds, "Fuzz Face alike" and gatey/spitty vaxtrol fuzz.

If you are in for Hendrix sound, it is ok, for everything else this fuzz is as amazing as it is unique.
