Instrument 1 White : Very versatile and fun. Though could be more comfortable to play.

This is a very interesting and versatile piece of kit. But it takes a bit of getting used to. I don’t see it as a midi guitar as it doesn’t sit on your knee and the fretboard doesn’t sit comfortably in your hand as when you play a guitar. That’s because it can also be played as drum pads and a keyboard, as well as a violin or cello if you use your smartphone for the bow. It is fantastic for what it is, a multi-purpose, and really innovative, midi controller. My one criticism would be that it may be trying to be too many things and falls short in being comfortable to play. I use a guitar strap with it and that helps. It doesn’t mimic playing another instrument such as a guitar or a piano so it has its own learning curve. However, when you hook it up to its standalone app it’s fun and customisable but when you connect it to a daw then the possibilities are endless. It’s also really well made, sturdy, lightweight and portable.
