SF300 Super Fuzz : oh, so this is for guitars?

...I'm using it to add a bit of presence to a monphonic synthesizer.

As such, it is a "desktop pedal" and the plastic build is of no concern to me - I might replace the switch at some point for something with more positive feedback though.

Sound-wise, no complaints: the SF300 adds fuzz for days.

A bit of low-fi, low-priced green distortion on the side, and my tame, bubbly monosynth turns into a screaming beast very reliably - and with a good degree of control, once you've found the sweet spots. Protect your ears, things get loud.
