MKIII C-3RL Ligature (BC) : A beginners viewpoint.

As a beginner on the bass clarinet and having bought a relatively cheap instrument, I found it difficult to set the reed in a consistent position so I decided to buy a new ligature. I now have no difficulty in setting the reed every time, however I find it difficult to convince myself that the ligature can produce the benefits claimed by the manufacturers, maybe as I gain experience I will change my mind on this.
This ligature produced a 100% improvement on the supplied metal version so I have to rate it highly and would recommend it to any beginner.
