SLO 30 Classic Head : Just amazing

Everything that is said about this amp is true. Amazing clean/crunch channel and roaring overdrive channel. Very diverse amp and it packs a punch. Gigged with it and didn't get it past 3 on master volume on overdrive channel. Depth control makes it sound like much bigger amp than it is (even though I wouldn't go overboard with depth control). Build quality seems really good and it's portable enough for gigs. Only downside that i noticed is that there is significant volume drop between crunch and clean setting on first channel. I know it is designed that way, but still it is something to keep in mind. You can work around it since you can still get pretty good cleans on crunch setting. It is very straight forward amp so don't expect many bells and whistles like in Mesa/Boogie amps. Controls are very simple and good thing is that once you set your controls (they are shared between two channels) they often sound good on both channels so there is no need for separate channel controls (if you want you can always use EQ pedal). All in all, beast of an amp!
