ST-20LH BK Standard Series : Nice Strat, great price

At 63, I am finally living the dream and learning guitar and didn’t want to break the bank. Found HB guitars online, read a ton of reviews (some good, some not so good), and decided that at this price point to take a chance. My guitar arrived today and I must say I am impressed. Absolutely beautiful finish, very good build quality, super neck with not a single fret sprout. To my novice ears, it sounds decent through my little practice amp. The fretboard looks good, but is very dry. I will be taking it to a local music store for a pro setup to clean the frets, oil the fretboard, tweak the neck if needed, check the intonation, change strings, etc. Will probably swap out the pickups as well. All in all? Very satisfied customer here.
