Engl amps have quite a following in the metal circles. If you are a metal player, you do not need me to tell you that you do need some Engl in your life. What is often overlooked however is how versatile this all-tube amp head is. Provided that you know what you are doing with the existing controls and you have the guitar to match your style, this amp will take you places. Add in a solid EQ pedal to the mix and effectively, you can play whatever you want. The build quality of the amp and the features are top-notch. I usually do not give 5 stars across the board but, by Golly, this is a 5-star product if I ever saw one.
