DeepMind 6 : Love the Deepmind 6

Super powerful polysynth for a great price. I mostly use the synth receiving midi notes from the beatstep pro, but also for live pads and lead sounds. Patch building is a bit of a crash course in understanding synthesis, but the versatility of the editing means there are a crazy amount of possibilities. Only very slight downside with the DM6 is that those 6 voices get eaten up pretty quickly on all but the single voice polyphonic patches, so this can limit the number of key presses available, but given the price difference in the DM12 this is just something I have to live with. You can get around it by changing the polyphony, but this can lead to an audible loss of richness and depth to patches. If you have the money (and space) go for the DM12. That said, you can get endless classic patches from this, with Juno, Jupiter and Oberheim tones all within easy reach. Oh, and the effects (sparingly used) are great too. I love it.
