Monologue BK : Versatile Analogue Synth

I use the monologue in a synth/drum machine setup and use it for both leads and bass (and with a little delay and reverb it does awesome mono-pads).

When I bought the monologue it was ¤300. I may be salty over the fact that it drop in price a few months later but it is definitely more than worth ¤250.

It's a good synth and you get a lot of features. There is some menu-diving for more advanced controls, but everything you really need is easily accessible from the surface controls.

The filter is supreme, it's really grown on me

The oscilloscope is neat.

It is well designed. The presents are obviously mad and some are totally usable, some less so (unless you're trying to copy Richard D. James).

The sound is powerful, the sequencer is too (very particular character to it).

It has an audio in, can sync to clock and midi, and it has usb (though I've never used this yet).

I think if you do you research you'll find it's a beastly piece of gear for the current price.

I find with the addition of simple FX the sound easily transforms into something awe-inspiring.
