Loisto vehje Ableton Liven rinnalle

Padien tuntuma on loistava, saa helposti oikean voimakkuuden iskulle.

Tuote on tehty Arrangement näkymälle mielestäni.

Session näkymässä ei pääse kontrollerilla leikkimään kovin paljoa, menee silti hiirihommiksi.

Great controller!

I love the Push 2 as it makes my workflow faster.

One of the best controllers for Ableton in my opinion.

Very much recommended!

Great piece of technology

Very fun and intuitive to use, had great moments and managed to learn a lot about music and production with it. Strongly recommend - for professional and amateur use as well.

The best for Ableton Live

if you want to take your Ableton Live workflow up a notch, this is what the doctor recommends. I use it in my studio and it has speeded my workflow up in a tremendous way. It is also a powerful creative tool for electronic music. You'll find plenty of vids on YT describing all the features and capabilities of this beauty... just check them out and see if it suits you. As far as I'm concerned, it's perfect.

The build quality is also very good: heavy, sturdy and pro-feeling.

No cons here.

push for the creativity

For the relatively small period of few months I have had it, I can say it's a creativity blast. Every time you try something new with the Push 2, it presents and unlocks its potential in an unexpected way. Spend some time to try and learn the controls, this helps really with the flow.

Not a must have, but...

Ok, you can make electronic music just with a computer and a monitor. But after getting push 2, you can't go back, and can't do music without it. You will get addicted, trust me. With push, production becomes much easier, and your songs get more complexed.

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!!

As some one who has worked on the development of Push since its first incarnation...I must say that everything is just as good as expected.

Amazing instrument!!

I bought the Push after using one at the office for a few hours. A common misconception is that the Push is just a MIDI controller - it is not! To get the most out of Push, you must treat it as an instrument. A way to create electronic music without staring at a computer screen.

I have found that my workflow has sped up dramatically with the Push - it has gotten me out of the habit of trying out thousands of sounds without making anything. Rather, I end up putting down ideas immediately and fluently.

The Push 2 has a lot of improvement on the original - particularly the build quality. Very nice chassis, screen, and pads - it feels good to the touch, and feels extremely high quality. I do wish it came with some kind of carrying case - for now, I can easily fit the Push and my 13" Macbook Pro into my backpack, but I am searching for something more rugged for flights, etc. !

Must have for Ableton Users

This a great product. A real improvement from Push 1, especially with the new screen which is clearer and larger than before.

The unit itself is sturdy and well built.. German manufacturing at its best.. It looks great also with a sleek matt black design.. Has rubber feet so it does not slip which in turn makes it feel solid and weighty.

I find it hard to fault at all, very much recommend this product for those looking for a tactile environment for your Ableton DAW and away from your computer.

An excellent piece of gear.

Ableton's Push 2 integrates seamlessly into a workflow divided into preparatory sessions (sound design, rack building, etc.) and writing sessions (dedicated exclusively to writing tracks), helping one focus on the writing process exclusively by providing tactile feedback and eliminating the need to constantly look at your computer screen, thus helping to prevent getting lost in technical details and losing the overall feel and creative direction of the track, while still providing a sizeable amount of control over some of the technical aspects through its high resolution screen and full integration with Ableton Live 9.5 and above.

Built like a tank yet slick and stylish, the Push 2 is most definitely an excellent option for Ableton users looking for a more agile and unencumbered workflow, with the only drawback being its stiff price tag for producers on a budget.

The best midi controller for Ableton live

If you are an Ableton Live user (9.5 and above) you have to own a push2. I owned one and im very happy for this purchase. The design, the sense of the pads, the velocity, the easy of use, the new led monitor and the multiple new functions are the key points that makes push 2 a must have midi controller. This is my first push experience so i can't compare it with push 1.

Pros: Easy of use, new updates and features in ableton live 9,5(and above) specifically for push 2, beautifull color pads with high sensitivity an great feeling on touch, excellent minimal disign, nicely built, great sampling features and beat sequenscing.

Cons: The only disadvantage for me is the expencive price but i still think it worths every penny.

very good product

Good material quality, live 9 comes with not one but three different tools for analysing audio and generating MIDI clips containing notes derived from the original material. In fact, audio-to-MIDI has been in Live for a while in the form of clip slicing, whereby an audio clip is taken apart and converted into a MIDI clip playing a Sampler which contains fragments of the original audio. However, the audio analysis used in this process is rudimentary, and audio transients or warp markers are the only information used. Live 9's new analysis features dig deeper into the audio material. As you'd expect, the functions are extremely sensitive to the quality and accuracy of the source material, and you'll almost certainly have to do some cleaning-up work with the resulting clip. To test the harmonic capture I started with a MIDI clip playing piano, froze the clip to generate audio and then did the harmony-to-MIDI conversion. Apart from a few spurious high harmonics, the result was pretty faithful to the original, although these were ideal test conditions. I also threw three minutes of Debussy from my iTunes library into the system, and the result was a pretty impressive transcription, with only the occasional obvious wrong note.My attempts to capture a whistled tune as a MIDI melody worked after a fashion, although it insisted on rendering all my F-naturals as F-sharps: I suspect the source material was to blame. Drum-to-MIDI conversion seemed less useful: a lot of my tests ended up as snare-only, or all three sounds layered at once, and since the resulting output is so simple in terms of sound palette, you're probably better off just playing by ear or sequencing it directly. As the disclaimer goes, your mileage may vary!

Truly mature product

I was about to pull the trigger and buy the first version but did see the shortcomings. This is definitely the product that Live should ship with. Well done, Ableton.

Great controller!

I am very happy with the device.

Had the original Push and this one is a great improvement in my opinion. The new pads are like candy to my fingers and the larger upgraded screen is very nice.

Keeps me rocking for hours without a break.

Much love!
