Acus One-8 M2 Wood

Excellent amp!

Bought the Acus M8 amp a while ago mainly to take it with me on smaller gigs where carrying larger PA speakers with a mixer is not worth it but doing it acoustically wont cut it. This is the perfect solution.

I was really looking into something that has 3 inputs to plug in 2 mics and a guitar. It sounds really, really good and is louder than I was hoping, I have't used it to its maximum potetial or maximum volume, because it can get really loud.

Read somewhere, that the fans on the amp can get loud while using it. Set it up at home, turned it up to "not bothering any neighbours" volume and I can't say that the fans ain't there, you can hear them but it doesn't bother me, since it is not as loud as i had read previously, so a big plus there.

It has some great FX options, which sound good, but have not used them really since vocals go through their own FX pedals, but i would trust the onboard FXs if I didn't have external effects.

One thing to consider is the Simon option, which is the foldable installation option. I needed the amp fast and this one was in stock, so I got the non Simon version. Can't say that I am missing anything without foldable installation and I am happy without it, but if you need it, definitely consider which amp to get for your needs.

This amp is worth the money! I am really happy with it and hope that this will continue to serve me for years to come.
