I really like this thing, a little preparation time and you can easily complete the most difficult event while playing, the ability to create several scenes and quickly switch between them is super, I'm very satisfied. I advise everyone to try this device.

value for money

would have been nice to have full access to the dmx possibilty's, yet it holds 256 channels out of the box, decent shows built in, ver[y suitable for wedding dj's who want to spice up their lightshow without the hours of programming

Der Controller funktioniert astrein. Angeschlossen ist er super schnell mit eurem Tablet oder Smartphone verbunden. Verbindungen stabil wie Kaugummi auf nem Teppich. Die App ist echt schön gemacht und ziemlich easy-to-use. Ich kann das nur jedem empfehlen der keine Lust auf große Programmierung hat. Lichter auswählen und loslegen. Ich arbeite meist im BPM-Modus, da ich vielleicht zu blöd bin den Ableton Link jedes Mal korrekt an Start zu bringen. Ich weiß nicht wo das Problem liegt, aber das zickt ganz ordentlich. Wenn er mit Ableton mal gelinkt ist läufts auch perfekt. Leider hab ich ein paar Abzüge die wirklich optimiert gehören! Da ich Moving Heads damit bediene nervt folgendes: warum fangen die Geräte jedes Mal in der Ausgangsposition an wenn ich einen Parameter (z.B. Speed) ändern möchte... Das ist bei allen Parametern so. Super nervig. Warum stellen sich jedes Mal die Parameter um wenn ich auf z.B. einem Low-Modus bin und die Presets, im Kreis, abgefahren werden. Und Leute, keine Ahnung wer da bis jetzt geschlafen hat. Strobe ist f*** wichtig. Fahr ich den wirklich teilweise schlecht reagierenden Regler in eine andere Position ist anfangs immer Turbostrobe angesagt. Why???? Und bitte, gibt dem User doch mal ein Strobemode auf BPM gesynct. Auf den Beat, doppelt so schnell, oder auf den Beat Randomlicht, etc. Statt dem Fader ein paar Buttons. Damn, man kann das wundervolle Programm mit nem DJ-Controller bedienen. Na dann macht doch auch was gescheites mit Strobe. WICHTIG.

So, lange Rede kurzer Sinn. Ist ziemlich cool, Preis in Ordnung, aber wie gesagt optimierungsbedürftig. Kaufen und ausprobieren, das ist immer gut!

Good idea

I bought this unit to run my DMX lighting and at first found it very good and easy to use, but over time I found it lost the network at some very inconvenient moments and refused to log back in saying i was using the wrong password even though I have saved the password for it for automatic log in on my Ipad, somewhat annoying.

The next issue was that I when created my own scenes sometimes after a fair bit of setting up the look I was after when I pressed the preset button to save the scene it did not save all the information and the scene did not look like what I had set it up to be, again rather frustrating.

If you just want to plug in and play with what lighting shows that are built in then it works reasonable well but it seems to me if you want to invest the time to program more individual scenes and it does not save what you want it to then it does not fulfill what it says it will do.

I have switched over to an ADJ Airstream Bridge now which is far more labour intensive to program the scenes I want but well worth the effort in the end giving me the level of control I require from my Ipad flawlessly.

Good, but not perfect....easy to use

I am a mobile DJ who uses lighting along with DMX control, mostly at weddings and similar events.

This dmx interface is very well made, solid, hard and the feeling when handled gives a real impression of quality.

Comes well and nicely packaged, with all the accessories in the box.

The software is very good, but it has its drawbacks. The connection with the tablet is almost always good, sometimes at the start you need to turn on the program a couple of times to establish the connection.

The operation of the program with LED lights and moving heads is good, everything is basically covered, even more than the basic functions. From colors, movements, blinding effects, blackout effects, dimmer, strobe, iris, prism, gobo .... you can even make a point / spot position for your moving heads, with the movement of your finger you can move your beam of light on the dance floor, to me it is especially useful for weddings for the first dance or for announcements .....

The great thing is that you can save 50 scenes, everything you need for your performance during the evening, for LED PAR lights and moving heads .... I only use these two types of lighting for my needs .....

The pre-programmed movements are OK, but they are not great, the movements and speed can be controlled very well.

The colors on the LED pair of lighting can be controlled very well, the effects are very good even though you have a lot of lighting, the effects look very good.

Software can sometimes block, when you program scenes at home, it doesn't happen live with already programmed scenes.

All moving heads from the more expensive range work very good in the software and can be controlled within the software parameters. The DMX control problem exists with small cheaper moving heads where some cannot control all the movements within this software. These small problematic moving heads work normally and can be completely controlled within the more powerful software on the laptop.

Sometimes you can't connect to the tablet right away, you need to restart the software

You need to have a good battery on tablet for 4 hours use

The software cannot control all the movements of some smaller and cheaper moving heads

For a slightly more serious and quality show you need to use more serious software on your laptop

I recommend this for anyone who doesn't want to mess with programming in some serious software, this is a small thing that makes a great show.

Very pleased with the adj mydmx go, does the job very good, sometimes very rare looses the connection but as i said very rare. good product to buy

Great Value for money

Very easy to setup and use.

For the Mobile DJ this is perfect, it takes away the scenes setup and does all of that on it;'s own.
