The greatest microphone
This microphone has become beautiful and wonderful in capturing sound, and letters come out of it with very high clarity. I use it for music, speaking, and recording.
Great mic
Doesn't really have many features. You sing in it, and it sound crisp and clear. I love this mic over the 58er. At least for my male voice. It do need phantom power
Great Overall Microphone
I wanted to find a good solid mic a little bit above my workhorse SM58. The AKG C7 was a clear upgrade and what a pleasant discovery this was!
The sound quality is really refined and well-rounded. The clarity is really superb and captures a full range from highs to lows. The lows are particularly vivid. I have used it for vocals as well as for recording strings and winds. I am still discovering this magnificent beast and I am sure it will continue to surprise me more.
The built quality is solid and I am sure it will keep going for several years to come.
If you are looking for something more detailed and refined I would definitely consider this mic. I am going to add a few more of these to my studio.
Great for the price
To me, high frequency of this mic is a little too strong for the recording. But this mic should be great for stage performances and stand out.
