Poor bass handling..

Disappointed in these, can't handle any level of bass....fingerpicked acoustic turned to bassy mush,it was clear and defined through my "lo-fi" T-Bone HD880.....was planning to buy a more expensive set of AKG's if these had been OK but bluurgh....won't risk it now....

Very good closed back headphones.

Well, they are very bassy because of closed construction but they make recording guitar amplifier possible while sitting in the same room :)

Great for the price

Fast delievery. Lightweight. Fits well on the head. Maybe a slightly tight at the begining, but I think with usage they will fit perfectly. Outside sounds are very low, which is what it should be for me. The sound is great, especially when recording is profesional and with a wide variety of instruments.

A bit nasal...

They miss a lot of low-end so the sound is not very balaced. Neverthless, the price is very good and the overall quality is solid. Very comfortable and light: I would suggest them as cheap option for monitoring during recording.

Great with my piano

I ordered these headphones together with my piano. I have only used them while playing and they are doing really well. The sound with them on is as though I hear the piano directly. They are also convenient. I usually do not like over-year headphones, but these ones are comfy. Outside sounds are very very low. Not 100% excluded, but say 99%. I personally prefer it that way, so that I am not completely excluded from the room.

Overall I am very happy with these headphones, they suit perfectly me and my piano :)

Great practice headphones

Use it for practicing guitar at home with Blackstar HT1 amp. Really comfortable headphones and sounds great for my ear. Looks and feels quality. Price is very good. I wanted to buy AKG 92-s instead (like design better), but those were sold out at that moment. Different reviews recommended AKG K-240 Studio but those were almost twice the price. So I sticked with K-72 and I don't regret.

Definitely great headphones for practicing guitar.

Great pair of Headphones!

I feel that the finish isn't the best, but is very good for the price.

Good overall

I received them faster than expected which is good. Inside the box I discovered that one earpad has been grumbled by the cable. I hope it goes away in time. I love AKG-s though and overall Im not dissapointed for such cheap cans. Sound is quite open and neutral which I expected. Earpads are OK. They feel really really light on head and still secure. I would wish even more clamping force and I have a big head.

The only thing that bothers me a bit is poor outside noise isolation which supposed to be good. Tiny bit better though than my K-99-s that are semi-open design.
