Most Important Feature Faulty

I bought this almost 2 years ago and had a lot of fun with it. Sadly only behind my desktop.

It would be a solid 5 star rating, if the wireless function worked. Which it DOES NOT.

It's really hard to be fair because of this... I love every single other aspect of this, but since being wireless is a core feature of this instrument and it fails at that, it's basically a total fail and I cannot comfortably give more than the minimum amount of stars. Although I really would want to.

It's a shame. Such a good looking keytar with a good amount of faders and pads.

But I get annoying hang notes every time I use it wirelessly, that render it basically useless for live gigging.

That problem occurs a lot of times, as you can see on various forums on the internet and the customer support was no help either.

Also the pitch wheel doesn't snap back to 0 a lot of times, which gives off a detuned terrible sound.

For an instrument, that has "wireless" in it's name, that's a damn shame.

I have to use it with cable now.

I love playing keytar but I really regret buying this one.

Do not recommend!

no wireless on Apple Silicon

The instrument is well thought out, very enjoyable to play. It opens up a lot of possibilites for musical theater. Unfortunately the wireless connection does not work on the Mac Mini with M1 processor which we are using for the production.

bring it back

first it seemed dorky to buy a keytar in 2021 but this device is a fun addition to any home studio with very easy to use futures :)

it is wireless and it even receives midi from the other room without any delay! i wasn't expecting it to work this good.

overall build quality is adequate, it feels fine and it is light (a good thing)

the usb dongle works without any installation. For further program changes you need to download the alesis application. there was a problem with the installation file for mac os. i will try with a pc when possible.

i would recommend it to home producers who want to have fun running around the studio and play the keytar ! :) i don't think it is reliable enough for live/stage use.

My First Keytar

It is a keytar!!! Now I have a keytar! Now it remains to learn how to play it))). And even though I haven't fully connected it with all the programs yet (it's not my birthday yet. we are waiting until July 11) but I think that it will work perfectly!

KeytaRRRR!!

Cool looking toy with load of features

First of all, it is not an instrument for beginners or children. Installing the software takes a lot of time and is very frustrating due to the lack of information. ! small piece of paper and that is it. And ofcourse, without the software no sounds because it is not a plug and play, stand-alone instrument but a midi-controller.

After all is installed the possibilities through the software are limitless. If it can be easily used to perform I wonder. For me it is a nice instrument to play on and explore with.

And it looks cool!
