Amazing choice (at least for guitar and other experimental usages)

Well,

I guess my review won't be exactly for the violinists out there since I chose this product to use with my Les Paul to get a bit more authentic, sonically very "tearing" high distorted and reverberated ebow-esque wailing tones.

For this particular usage this works just fine. The quality seems average and all the hairs were intact at least. I really don't know all the intricacies that should be noted when buying a bow like this, but at least it brought what I wanted to produce sonically with my instruments and did everything I wanted surprisingly good.

I also love how you can control the "pressure" or more like the velocity of the sound you are producing with the bow by putting a bit more "weight" to the bowing action and with distortion and reverb (also delay with lot of quick repeats but throwing the mix lower) it creates amazing soundscapes, artifacts from the distortion, harmonies and undertones which can't be produced with an E-Bow.

No regrets on my part at this purchase. Give it a whirl if you understood what I meant and if you are considering to use these things for the same application as I do.
