Bose F1 Subwoofer

I was sceptical about buying a woofer with 10 inch drivers, and I totally purchased this based on reviews but after gigging with these WOW! The responsive deep bass from the F1 sub is definitely up there with most high end 15 and 18 inch subs. Such a big sound from such a compact box. Paired with my Bose F1 Model 812 loudspeakers the sound is just phenomenal. If you are not sure weather to buy these or not stop thinking about it and do it. Save your money! You will be very impressed. I get compliments about my sound at almost every gig.

EV ETX-18SP

EV ETX-18SP

I bought two of EV ETX-18SP and two of EV ETX-35P to build the great PA. The subwoofers have a lot of pressure and it's very easy to use them and adjust. There are four steerable 100mm wheels on the bottom and you can drive it easy to the stage. Two of the wheels have a locking device, so that you can stop sub where it should stand. The front led can be configured on / off or limit display. It is noticeable that the peak limiter flashes relatively early ( about 120 dB already ) - but this is certainly intent. And it's really mastered the whole range. 135 dB SPL peak is here definitely not advertising promises, but real and measured. These are real subs IMHO 50 stars for the pair and highly recommended!

EV EKX-18SP

This is a well thought out product, with ideal features for install in medium sized venues, as well as its portability for bands. In a 300-500 seat new build venue it provides at least 100dB a-weighted SPL over the entire area with excellent quality and realism. The dual inputs allow simple feeds from a main mixer or local computer for varying needs of the venue with no switching or patching. In this venue the response is substantially flat between 32Hz and 15k without any EQ (Note that the building is acoustically designed and the speakers and Subs are mounted at high level). Comments from audiences of music and speech material have been very favourable as to clarity, and musicality. Several persons with hearing aids find intelligibility better than the purpose designed loop, and being...

I am extremely pleased with my purchase of these Bass speakers. Turbo sound quality at a fraction of the cost of its closest competitors. Build quality superb, however, some of the features will never be used in my preferred application (plug and go) and it is quite cool to have the extra features in the DSP "if ever I was to ever educate myself in such technology". A little disappointed at the overall weight but hey, you pays your money you takes your chance. I would rate these bins as a definite 9/10. :-) Cant wait to try them with the IQ15" tops and to put the whole system through its paces.

Had 2 of these subs for around a year now and there brilliant! The built in dsp is easy to use and has a great set of features. My only wish was that EV would allow the EKX family of speakers to interact with the app like the ELX 200 series do but this isnt the end of the world, just think it would be cool. I upgraded after having cheaper active subs which blew the drivers before indicating them limiting. With the EV'S that worry is gone. I can run them up till they limit and be confident they will be fine. I use these with a pair of EV EKX 12P tops and the sound is great. I have however also tried one of these subs with a pair of EV ELX 112 in a hall and the sub filled the space very well.

In my opininion price/quality perfect balance. I'm working in small events. Wedding, corporate events and also seminars. Using them with ELX-200 12" speakers and as a set it sounds perfect. Of course I would like to buy EKX or even ETX, but costumers never complained about lack of sound or poor quality, so I think EKX or ETX is my own wish, but ELX-200 is enough. Before I have owned wooden ELX, so these ones ELX - 200 sounds really much better. Recommended. You won't regret it. Just maybe if you work with bands, then it might be not enough, but I think it also depends on the band requirements and space where the concert happens.

Yamaha DXS12 MKII

Incredible sub that has transformed my gigs. I have been running with two DXR12s with the low end lift on for most gigs and it has been a satisfactory sound but never as full as it should be. Finally bit the bullet and ordered one DXS12 MkII and used it for the first time at a wedding in a marquee with around 120 guests and an eight piece band. The results were phenomenal. Will easily cope with a gig twice that size. The DXS is simple to use and very powerful. Mixing the gig was so much easier than working without a sub, with space free on the tops for vox and instruments and a beautiful low end end giving warmth and thump. The bass player was delighted, as were the whole band! The DXS is a game changer. If you're thinking about purchasing, I highly recommend.

Turbosound Milan M18B is a speaker with a lot off features and the sound is perfect on stage. The sound and adjustment options are very diverse with which you can place and adjust this speaker in any corner. The sound is warm, clear and very quiet in addition to the enormous power. The advantage of the tops is that you can place them in two different positions in the stands in addition to adjusting the speaker separately. This speaker will surprise you enormously in terms of price and perfect finish in addition to the enormously beautiful sound!

As a dj I was used to big club soundsystems so i was looking for something similar for home. This paired with a set of Yamaha HS8s is performing beautifully. The screen has easy access to all the settings you will need so setting it up as a sub on its own was super easy. The sound after some tweaking (for example the position setting on the dsp made it come to life when it settled on a corner in the room) is really good, punchy bass really responsive and round without any distortion. Quality wise the cabinet seems very solid and robust, the driver performs great without any creaking or distorting even when pushed really hard. From a dj point of view it fills the space in the frequency range that you would miss in the mix when using normal monitors. Last point i want to make is that you can...
