Ampeg PF-350 Portaflex
Bass Head

Latest User Reviews
Pros - quality design, good sound and lightweight
cons - there is no possibility to link it to another amplifier, so if you need to boost your sound for a larger playing gig you can't use another amp at the same time.

pros: weight size (portability) power headphones + audio input
cons: mute button
Ampeg PF-350
from the first time I set eyes on this amp my heart was all a flutter, and started to check the boxes straight away, one it's small and nimble, two it's an Ampeg, the cab again is quite small and beautifully designed with that retro 50's style that I love another box ticked. The sound however is beyond expectation, I didn't get a chance to practice with with before I had to gig with, so I was a little worried, I needn't have been. beautiful bottom end and really sweet mid tones, I use both a double bass and a musicman stingray, both sounded superb, this is without doubt the best investment I have ever made in a bass amp, Ampeg designers stand up and take a bow you deserve it this amp is simply superb.
