OK

For the money, it's okay. Not as good as the real thing (the Canadian one). What I like: sound is okay; can't get close to classical guitar sound into a PA system (perhaps better for steel string; just don't try it). Individual note doesn't ring as good as the HB Nashville, but chord playing is decent (HB's preamp is too harsh for strumming). What I don't like: very high action. I already adjusted the truss rod, but still very high (higher than normal classical guitar action). If I want to lower further, I'll have to file down the saddle, which is a pain and risky. Just to say they don't put a whole lot of thought into the details. The fret ends are a little rough, but not quite annoying. Conclusion: good (since it doesn't cost a lot of money) to play on a couch.

Really nice

For the money, excellent quality and very playable, Anna was very helpful and shipping was super fast.

the action was little higher that I like it , there was also some bowing on the neck but nothing too serious, Just have to do my own setup on it which I normally do for all the guitars I buy , I also didn’t like that they sent it tuned from overseas, it’s not ideal with the extreme temperature change.

Overall 5 start for the price, guitar and service !

Great guitar at a great price

I’ve owned the Angel Lopez guitar for a couple of months and I really like it. The build quality is very good although the string action was quite high. To solve this problem I removed the bridge saddle and sanded it down to lower the string action which now makes it very playable. I bought the guitar to play some jazz/Latin songs and have to say it sounds great. At only £248 this is amazing value. I’m glad I paid the extra few quid for the black finish which is stunning.

Good nylon sound with the convenience of an electric

Sometimes I feel the need to practice at night without disturbing the family or neighbours. This guitar serves the purpose really well. Well built, with great sound and looks nice. Some people ask me if it is a Godin. I would change the tuning pegs in the future, but for now, it's ok. Great deal for the small price tag.

Nice

For a cheap electro-acoustic, it's a good instrument. I got one to get introduced to this kind of instrument (I play electric guitar usually) and was surprised that it was more than I expected. Though it's not perfect, for it's price, it's definitely worth it. I gave mine to a friend as a present and plan to buy another one.

Sounds good!

If classical wide neck works for you, this is a very good guitar for practice and recording.

Superb instrument

I ordered this as I needed a nylon string for an upcoming gig, and this guitar seemed like good value. When I received the guitar, I was honestly blown away by the quality.

Firstly, it's a very striking looking guitar. The binding really adds to the instrument and the fingerboard is a beautiful slab of rosewood on an extremely comfortable mahogany neck. The fretwork is really excellent on this. Although there was very little neck relief when I received the guitar, this guitar has a truss rod so I was able to fix this very quickly.

In terms of hardware, the tuners are extremely smooth, accurate, and easy to turn (unlike many classical guitars I've played). The guitar sounds great plugged in and there is absolutely tons of volume on tap - far more than standard electric guitars, which I am used to.

I have only a couple of criticisms of this guitar. There's a bit too much volume on tap. This is mainly a problem when switching between instruments. I set this guitar to equal my archtop (so about halfway) but I found the volume control was being bumped higher by the underside of my arm when changing guitar. However, this problem can be easily fixed though by putting a piece of tape over the preamp. And for the price this is really a very small issue.

This is one of the nicest instruments I've owned, and according to a friend of mine, it compares very favourably to the Godin nylon range (which is considerably more expensive). I would thoroughly recommend this guitar to people looking for a nylon guitar for musicals/etc. It's also great for jazz players, and aside from bossa and latin styles this could definitely be used on straight ahead/bebop gigs as well. It's a keeper!
