I have been playing Aquarian heads for more than 7 years. Most of the time I used clear double ply heads. Since about a year ago I switched to the super 2 coated heads on my toms. I love the sound, the attack and sustain of these heads. Tuning is super easy. For playing in a soul&funk band and in a country band I’ll turn the toms down to a low tuning. When I am playing with my jazz sextet I just have to cranck up some lugs for a higher bob tuning and I’m done. The toms are in tune very quickly and they really sing !! All members of every band I’m playing in, love the sound of my drums. Sound engineers adore them. With a kick, snare and overhead mike and occasionally just one or two overheads the drums sound great. In louder surroundings with close miking, there is barely any equalizing necessary. That’s what these heads do for you.

I would urge every drummer to give these heads a try. I’ll bet you are going to be pleasantly surprised.

Super 2 coated

This 10 inch head works awesome on a renown maple 10" tom. The tom sounds awesome, and because the drum kit is white, the whole kit looks really cool. The sustain of the tone is just right!
