I used this n my 13" brass Pearl Piccolo snare drum, and I will never look back. The sound is amazing, and adds south rich tone and dynamic to the snare drum. I use a few other snare drums, and will definitely be getting this model for all of them. Great quality, for a great price! A must have for all drummers!

On my snare I have cranked this head up really high. Surprisingly, the head has kept it's tuning, not shown any strain with the snare wires over it, and has a really good resonance to it. Some bottom heads don't seem to react well with snare wires. I use Puresound E1316 Equaliser snare wires and the two seem like a match made in heaven! There isn't anything negative I can say about this head. It's simple, durable, and most importantly a quality piece of kit.
