good
I ordered wrong size so I downtuned my uke. These are classics recorded by countless artists. What does my review going to change?
Good strings
Used to replace original plastic string on an uke.
It took a long time to get them to stay in tune after stringing the uke (like several months) and then I was tuning the uke every two to three days.
They make the uke sound a lot better than with the original strings.
I think they feels a little bit "softer" to play than the original strings.
Great set of strings
Affordable, good quality, and no notions. I'd highly recommend these strings. You won't be disappointed.
Brighter than the rest
and soft on the hands, the red version have a funny texture. this ones have the traditional texture and the same brightness. Stays in tune for ages.
You know what you're getting.
The standard uke string.
Bright and durable.
Standard reliable ukulele strings
A good reliable set of strings with a nice sound on most instruments, a bit harder material than Worth and give a bright sound
Great uke strings
I've used Aquila uke strings for years, ever since a friend recommended them for a cheap uke I got for my birthday. They instantly improved the tone and intonation and when I got a proper tenor uke a few years later I kept using Aquila strings.
They have a beautiful tone, and mean you can use the uke as a real instrument, rather than just jam and think that's all a uke can sound like. They are long lasting, though of course you have to change them eventually!
I must say I've never felt the need to try any other type of strings for my ukulele as I am so happy with these. Been using them for years and will keep buying them.
Amazing sound
These strings have been on my ukulele for 4 years now and they still sound very good.
High quality, good sounding.
Minimal wearing, keep tune well, with enough for 2 stringings of my ukulele, which is a nice touch. Very, very clear tone without any grit. Strings have a nice, thick feel and excel at bright strumming or fingerpicking, and I would certainly recommend these to anyone.
They're okay
These are just standard Aquila strings, low enough gauge for Tenor. You can find sound examples online if you look. They're fairly standard for intermediate players. If you have a uke with plastic strings, these will be the single biggest way to improve the sound of your uke.
